PTAP — Personal Tax Automation Project

Status: Private development and controlled testing

PTAP is a personal evidence-automation project designed to reduce the administration involved in collecting receipts and linking them to existing QuickBooks Online transactions.

It combines Tailride for receipt capture and extraction, Google Drive and Sheets for evidence and source data, Google Apps Script for orchestration, and QuickBooks Online as the accounting authority.

The key design rule is simple: attach evidence to the existing transaction without creating duplicate accounting records or changing accounting decisions.

The current milestone is proving the complete process safely using one real receipt and one existing production QuickBooks transaction, followed by a safe rerun that creates no duplicate attachment.
